You need to be calm and confident so that you can manage difficult dogs. Dogs can sense how you feel. If you feel nervous or unsure, they won’t listen to you.

There was one lady who wanted to give up her dog because it barked all the time and chewed the furniture. After training, her dog stopped doing these things and the lady decided to keep her pet.

Most dog trainers use the ‘rewarding good behaviour’ method. They praise and reward the dog with a tasty treat when it does something good.

I was playing outside with my friends when the ground started shaking. There was dust everywhere, even in my eyes and mouth. The earthquake destroyed many houses. I was terrified – what if my family were inside one of the fallen buildings? What if they were dead?

There wasn’t enough water to drink or food to eat. It was difficult for help to reach us since the earthquake destroyed many roads. At last, Help International brought tents, food and drinking water.

Without rain, the crops will die. Without crops, the animals will die, and we will starve. The people in my village are growing weaker since there isn’t enough food for everyone.

Vivienne reached her goal, but she kept her promise and manned her stand for one whole year. Since then, she has started selling her ‘Lemon-aid’ in bottles online and in shops.

Hailey Ford has done more to help the needy than many adults have. This 11-year-old girl spends her free time building shelters for homeless people in her neighbourhood. So, she set up Hailey’s harvest, a garden to grow vegetables for poor people.

Mile is a disobedient boy who loves watching TV. He goes inside a special TV which shrinks him until he is only 15 cm tall.

Charlie was my favourite character. I would like to be Charlie. If I were Charlie, I would make the best sweets in the world and give them to poor children.
